Welcome to Givan’s Taekwondo. By accessing our website, enrolling in classes, or participating in any programs or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for classes, submitting forms, or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, your minor child.
2. Eligibility & Enrollment
Students must meet age and program requirements to enroll.
Parents or legal guardians must enroll and consent for minors under 18.
Givan’s Taekwondo reserves the right to refuse or terminate enrollment at its discretion for safety, conduct, or policy violations.
3. Memberships, Fees & Payments
Membership fees are billed according to the plan selected at enrollment.
All fees are non-refundable, including registration fees, uniforms, testing fees, and monthly tuition, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Missed classes do not result in credits or refunds.
Prices and program structures are subject to change with reasonable notice.
4. Cancellations & Termination
Membership cancellation requests must be submitted in writing in accordance with the membership agreement.
Failure to pay fees on time may result in suspension or termination of services.
Givan’s Taekwondo reserves the right to terminate memberships due to misconduct, unsafe behavior, or violation of academy rules without refund.
5. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Participation in martial arts training involves inherent physical risks, including injury. By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree that:
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
Givan’s Taekwondo, its owners, instructors, staff, and affiliates are not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages except where prohibited by law.
You agree to release and hold harmless Givan’s Taekwondo from any claims arising from participation.
6. Health & Medical Responsibility
Participants affirm they are physically capable of participating in martial arts training.
It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions or limitations.
In the event of injury or medical emergency, Givan’s Taekwondo may seek emergency treatment at the participant’s expense.
7. Code of Conduct
All students and guests are expected to:
Show respect to instructors, staff, and fellow students
Follow academy rules and safety guidelines
Refrain from disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior
Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination without refund.
8. Communication & Marketing Consent
By providing your contact information, you consent to receive:
Class updates and schedule changes
Account and billing notices
Promotional emails and SMS messages
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following unsubscribe instructions or replying STOP to SMS messages. Message and data rates may apply.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including logos, text, images, videos, and training materials, is the property of Givan’s Taekwondo and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
10. Photography & Media Release
By participating in classes or events, you grant Givan’s Taekwondo permission to use photos or videos of you or your child for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes, unless a written opt-out request is submitted.
11. Website Use
You agree not to:
Use the website for unlawful purposes
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
Interfere with website functionality or security
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate website access at our discretion.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Givan’s Taekwondo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in programs or use of the website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state in which Givan’s Taekwondo operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
